Variety Pack of Chobani Flip Yogurt at Costco Review

Do you love greek yogurt, but want something to satisfy your sweet craving? The Chobani Flip Yogurt at Costco might be perfect for you! The large variety pack is an excellent deal and the flip yogurts are flavorful, fun and a good source of protein.

chobani flip yogurt box from costco

My kids love these little yogurts, and we normally buy them from other stores. So when I spotted this box I decided to buy it for this review.

Since this was my first time trying these flip yogurts, I had no idea of what to expect, but they looked so good. I am happy to say that they are very good, and that buying them from Costco is much cheaper than what you would pay at other stores.

You can find the Chobani Flip Yogurt in the refrigerated section at Costco, near the cheese and other yogurts. The item number is 1536097.

The box of 16 yogurts cost $13.99 USD, which means that you are paying about 90 cents for each yogurt. In general these flip yogurts are fairly expensive, I have purchased these from a few other stores and they are normally about $1.50 per yogurt. So they are definitely cheaper to buy in bulk from Costco.

Inside the Box

The box has a large opening at the top. Inside, there are 16 of the individual yogurts. There are four of each flavor.

  • (4) S’more S’mores
  • (4) Cookies & Cream
  • (4) Strawberry Cheesecake
  • (4) Key Lime Crumble

The yogurts come individually packaged and you can eat them right out of the container. This makes them perfect for at home or on the go. Each yogurt has a lid that you just peel off, and on one side there is flavored yogurt, and on the other side is the toppings.

Strawberry, key lime, s'mores, and cookie flavors of flip yogurts.

Then you just flip the toppings over into the yogurt by bending the middle, and then stir the toppings into the yogurt.

After trying all of these flavors,  I am happy to say that these yogurts taste so good. Chobani yogurt in general is the best yogurts, but these flips are even better. The yogurt is so smooth, but not as thick as other greek yogurts, and the texture combination between the creamy yogurt and crunchy toppings is perfect.

All four different flavors included in this box were delicious. You just don’t get that much yogurt in each pack, and so they are not that filling. They are a great option to curb a sweet tooth. I loved all the flavors, but my favorite flavors were the cookies & cream and the strawberry cheesecake.

Cookies & Cream

This is one of the best flavors of the flips and the ones that always get eaten first in my house. It has vanilla chocolate chip low-fat greek yogurt with chocolate cookies and creamy icing pieces.

The yogurt tastes sweet, but not too sweet. The topping reminds me of crumbled oreo cookies mixed with chunks of white chocolate. Once you mix it together the consistency of the yogurt and cookies is the perfect mixture. You get a crunchy texture in every bite, which makes it even more enjoyable.

Strawberry Cheesecake

This was my second favorite flavor. It really does taste like strawberry cheesecake, but I love that it’s not too sweet. The greek yogurt is low-fat strawberry flavored, and the toppings are bits of graham cookies with creamy frosting chunks (tastes like white chocolate chips) and coated rice crips.

The strawberry yogurt really gives it that cheesecake flavor, and the crunchy graham cookies reminded me of a graham cracker cheesecake crust, just more crunchy. It is also satisfying to taste the crunch and sweetness of the white chocolate chunks, and the coated rice crips.

Key Lime Crumble

If you want to feel like you are eating a key lime pie, only healthier, then you are going to love this flavor. It has Key Lime low-fat greek yogurt with graham crackers and white chocolate chips for the topping.

The key lime flavored yogurt is so good, even on its own. It’s not too sweet and has a bit of a tangy flavor, but with the added toppings, it makes the mix of the tangy yogurt and the sweet toppings a delicious combination. It is so good that if I closed my eyes it really would feel like I am eating key lime pie!

S’more S’mores

This one was honestly a bit too sweet for me, but it was still good. It has sweet vanilla low-fat greek yogurt with honey graham crackers, milk chocolate, and toasted sugar bits.

The S’mores flavor is the sweetest of all the flavors. The vanilla yogurt is just too rich for me. I do love the crunchy texture of the chocolate chips and honey graham crackers, but it’s just overall really sweet.

If you love rich yogurt or are looking for something to curb a sweet tooth, then this one might be perfect for you, but I personally don’t like yogurt that is too sweet. This one is always the last flavor to be eaten in my house.

Final Thoughts

These flip yogurts are a great alternative for a sweet tooth. They are convenient, delicious, and a more healthy option than a cookie or ice cream. While greek yogurt does have the added benefits of protein and probiotics, these yogurts are high in carbs and sugar.

While, not the healthiest snack, I think that these yogurts are perfect for curbing a sweet tooth. Overall, I would rate these flip yogurts a 8/10 because they taste great, are convenient, and the pack at Costco is cheaper than buying them from other stores.

Have you tried these flip yogurts? What was your favorite flavor?
