Kirkland Signature Frozen Peperoni Pizza Review
My kids just love pizza. I like to keep a few in the freezer for a quick lunch idea. Since the Kirkland brand has some great stuff I was excited to try the frozen pepperoni pizza, and of course so were the kids!
I wanted to get the frozen cheese pizza, but all I could find was pepperoni, so I just grabbed that. Hopefully next time they will have the cheese in stock.
If your kids are like mine, and they like cheese pizza the best, you could always just buy the pepperoni (if you can’t find the cheese) and then take off the pepperoni before you bake it.
I did this the second time we tried this pizza, and it worked great. The peperoni just sits on the cheese so you are easily able to grab it off.

Everything in the box
Inside the box there are individually wrapped frozen pizzas. I like that they are wrapped individually, so that you can get rid of the box and just store the pizzas in the freezer. Keep in mind that the cooking instructions are printed on the back of the box. If you do get rid of the box, you can just look up how to cook the pizza online.
Cooking the Pizza
I cooked the pizza according to the instructions on the box. First I heated my oven to 425 F and removed one of the pizzas from it’s packaging (including the cardboard).
Tip: Save this cardboard piece, so that when you remove the cooked pizza from the oven you can put it back on here to cut it up.
Then I placed it directly on the center rack of the oven and let it cook for about 13 minutes. After about 13 minutes, the cheese was slightly browned and so I removed it from the oven and cut it up.
I don’t know why, but each time that the pizza was cooking the oven put out a little bit of a weird smell. I think it was the crust of the pizza cooking.
But you couldn’t taste anything different, and once the pizza was fully cooked, you couldn’t smell anything different either.
Nutrition
Here is the nutrition information that were shown on the box.
What I Liked
We really loved how the pizza tasted. I liked that the Kirkland Signature pizza was on a thin crust. It also didn’t have too much cheese. I thought it had the perfect combination of cheese, sauce, and crust.
After following the cooking instructions, it was cooked just perfectly. The crust wasn’t too soggy or hard, it was just the perfect texture.
What I didn’t Like
I didn’t like the way it smelled while it was cooking, and after it was cooked, it was very greasy on top. The grease was because of the peperoni, because the next time that I cooked it I removed the pepperoni and it wasn’t greasy.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I really enjoyed the Costco frozen pizza. I thought that it was a great price for the amount of pizza you get and we all really liked it.
I would definitely purchase this again, but if they have the cheese in stock, I will buy just the cheese instead (or remove the pepperoni) so that it’s not so greasy.
If you are looking for an affordable, quick and easy pizza for the kids, I would recommend that you try the Kirkland Frozen Pizza. My kids love it!
