Costco Unreal Dark Chocolate Minis Review
I have to admit that I have purchased the Costco Unreal Dark Chocolate Coconut Bars so many times in the past. They are just so good! Since I wanted to take some pictures and write up this complete review, I was happy to buy them again.
These Unreal Coconut Bars are one of my all time favorite Costco finds when I am craving Dark Chocolate.
I always like to keep some dark chocolate on hand for when I have some late night chocolate cravings. I remember trying these Coconut Bars awhile back, and I was so impressed, that I have since purchased them many more times. Luckily they normally always have these in stock at my local warehouse.

Inside The Bag
The 15.34oz bag of Unreal Bars comes with about 30 individually wrapped coconut bars covered in dark chocolate. I just love the blue packaging. The individually wrapped bars are all inside the larger bag, but I do wish that there was a resealable zip lock on the bag so that these would be easier to store.
Taste
The only other chocolate coconut bars that I have tried in the past are Almond Joys, and since they are one of my favorite candies, I was excited the first time I got to try these Unreal Minis.
Honestly I wasn’t really sure what to expect since these are like a healthy form of Almond Joy, but I was excited, because I am always on the lookout for healthy-ish chocolate to satisfy my late night cravings.
After trying my first one I was so surprised that they were so good. In my opinion, they were even better than Almond Joys! When they say that the taste is UNREAL, they really are not joking.
They were so much better than I expected them to be. After tying my first one, I knew I would never go back to the other brands. Unlike Almond Joys, these Unreal Minis don’t have any almonds inside, but they just taste so good without the almond.
The Unreal Bars are filled with the perfect texture of coconut filling covered in a light layer of delicious dark chocolate. I think that the mix of chocolate to coconut filling is the perfect amount.
Some of the other brands of coconut bars can be a bit too sweet and taste almost artificial, but these Unreal bars didn’t taste too sweet at all.
They were the perfect amount of sweetness, and best of all, I don’t feel like I need to eat as many of the Unreal Bars as the other brands when it comes to satisfying my craving. While each bar is pretty small, I normally eat them slowly so that I get about 3-4 bites out of each one.
I normally just keep mine stored in a cupboard, but I did notice that on the bottom of the bag it suggested to keep them cool for maximum unrealness. I can imagine that they would be even better chilled right out of the fridge.

One thing that I love about these coconut bars is that they have up to 51% less sugar than the leading brands. They are also made with just 3 simple ingredients:

I love learning more about companies behind products that I purchase. So I checked out their website and here is what I found. In summary, they understood that most of the snacks that we love are all filled with artificial ingredients, excess sugar, and ingredients that we don’t even understand.

Final Thoughts
I am so glad that I came across the Costco Unreal Chocolate Coconut Bars. I honestly think that they taste way better than other brands, and I just feel good knowing that they contain healthier ingredients.
Now I can get my chocolate fix, and not feel quite so guilty! While there are some products that I buy at other stores rather than Costco, this is not one of them.
At less than $10 for this large bag of the Unreal Minis this is one of the best prices that I have seen for these bars. They are actually much more expensive at other stores.
I found them selling at other stores for more than 2-3x the Costco price. That makes these chocolate bars one of the things that I will only buy when they have in stock at Costco.
If you are looking for a healthier alternative to your favorite Chocolate Coconut bars, then I would suggest that you give these a try. I do agree with their product name. The taste really is UNREAL!
